Dad's Friends House

On Friday I went to a kindy disco because my little sister goes to kindy. Santa was there. He gave me reindeer food. My mum bought a cake. After that I went to a house with my Dad I went because it was my Dad's friend. Dad bought ice cream and we ate it there. There was lots of fish in the pond.  There was lots of juice there was a big hill that lead down to their house.

My New Car

Soon I am getting a new car.  It has two seats in the back, three seats in the middle and two seats in the front.  I need a new car because I got a new puppy and there's not enough room in my silver car.   Our new car will be black and there will be lots of buttons to turn the air to cold and warm.

Nana Comes To My House

On Friday my Nana and Granddad came to my house.  They gave me a book and Emily got a book as well.  They gave us heaps of lollies too.  We had a lolly scramble and at night we watched a film. The book that Nana gave me was a mouse book and it had fairies in it.  We played with play dough and made a play dough cake.

Soon I am getting a dog. It is a black. I like the dog because I have seen them. They look like my dog Sebby we are only getting one dog. I already have one dog.

Assembly

A few couple of days ago it was assembly. But Mum didn’t come because she did not know that assembly was on. At assembly I talked about paper for trees. And when I walked up to the gate Pipers Mum told my Mum assembly was on.

The Dentist

The other day I went to the dentist.  They had to look in my mouth and they also had to put some toothpaste on my tooth.  The toothpaste hurt a lot. After I got a necklace and it was a butterfly.

Lauren's Birthday

Yay! On Friday it was my birthday.  It was at the Rumpus Room.  I was turning seven.  I invited Piper, Leah and other people.  I got lots of presents and my cake is chocolate with M & M's. I played on the bouncy castle.  We also took Leah in our car because her Mum had to go shopping.  My Mum got me roller blades for my birthday.  My birthday is July 1st and my sister came too.

Hide N Seek

Yay! I love to play hide and seek.  When I play hide n seek I hide in the grass.  The grass hides me.  When I get out of the grass it tickles me. Sometimes I get prickles in my feet.

In the weekend Piper came to my house for a sleepover. Piper and I watched a movie. In the morning Piper and I went for a picnic at Pukekura Park. We had chips and lemonade and after the picnic we went on the playground. The playground had a climbing wall, a slide and a swing.

My Gumboots

When I play in the mud I always wear my gumboots.  The gumboots always get muddy.  When the gumboots get muddy Mum says "don't get your gumboots dirty", I say "I won't".  
So next time I will wear my old gumboots and so I did. When I wear my gumboots I ask my mum first without going straight ahead. Sometimes when I splash in muddy puddles my sister comes with me to jump in muddy puddles. When the door opens Sebby jumps in the mud with me.

Before School Fun

Today before school I went to Jasmine’s house to do maths. It is fun mum left me at Jasmines I wrote lots of words in a book then Emily did her lesson of piano, mum left her too. She found it fun too.

Have you captured the beauty of the rock pool creature that you observed?

Not Really. It’s not what a real live creature would look like. The shell is not supposed to have lines going up and down on it.

How difficult was it to transfer the patterns from your observational drawing to your Batik?

Hard.  I couldn’t really figure out where to put all the wax and then it didn’t look much like a creature.

Tomorrow me and Piper are going on a school trip. We will go on a bus. I might find a crab. It might be red and tinkle. I might be scared. I will wear shoes but they will be old shoes. The rocks are slimy. I will have fun. I will wear old clothes. It will be cold.

The Big Wedding

Today I bought my album to school.  It is a wedding album the bride is my aunty.  The bride is Dad's sister.  The flower girl is my cousin.  The music was beautiful, I love weddings. I danced all night, Emily cried when we went home.  It was fun, We stayed in a hotel, it was dark and creepy.  It was my first time going to a wedding.  My Nana was there too. We did it at the church, for the food we went to a house.

In the weekend Bells came over and we watched a movie and had popcorn.  My tooth hurt so my dad gave me panadol I did not want panadol it did not taste good.  I slept on the top bunk we watched a Barbie movie.
